it's gifting time so posts may be sporadic...

Isn't it purdy? Fast to knit though the last lace bit about did me in with YO's and K2tog's, but the real beyotch was purling... still, once you get the cast-on, cool! This is from cat boghi's (sp?) website/book on magical knitting, it is a true moebius, as opposed (so she says) to the "oops I twisted the knitting before joining in the round"

so I wanted to try it. It was easier on a small scale, so I made dd a skirt. It does have an added bottom flippy ruffle thing (I'm still half-asleep, so leave me alone)
Isn't it cute? I want to do it on a skirt for me now.
I'm making govelets. :-) That's what dd calls them. Looky I made cables! I'm busy with another creative project this month, but I do need to make a few presents...
Doesn't look like it to me... but he's revolutionary, anyway. I pointed out he could milk this costume for years, next year he could bring a giant feather quill and go around signing John Hancock in big letters, then the year after that he could don a tri point hat and yell the regulars are coming and have two lanterns, and then he could prance around saying "give me liberty or give me death!" etc.
Brown moleskin fabric, $4 a yard on sale. Revolutionary war pattern that needs serious alterations for my tall-freak of a husband, $1.99 on sale. Listening to him bitch about hairy legs and pantyhose--priceless
