I'll post pics later, I have to weave in ends, make the ties, and steam it a bit

Done, steamblocked, and, worn (pardon the elephant pose, I was at the zoo. Note to self: have taller person take photo as to appear more fit, camera at waist height is not flattering...):

see, now that's not fair - you tell me it's ok to post something obscene and then I come see *this* work of art? How am I supposed to say something obscene NOW?

I *love* that - it's beautiful... just gorgeous.

Thank you! You will see it in person soon, hopefully. :-D

I haven't been able to finish the ties, but given what happened, I'm just glad to have woven in some of the ends. I have about 4 more (stupid me, I forgot that WHILE crocheting, you can cheat and just crochet over the ends. As long as it's not a lacy pattern, that is--so it would work for the body but not the edges. Still, that would've left me with maybe six ends to work in instead of double that...

Live and learn!

can you believe I only learned how to crochet in, was it February of this year? Yay!

if you are coming tonight bring it with you and i just happen to have my camera with me so we can take some more photos if you want. i am quite partial to the elephant pose though :]
