Not Back to School Day

Every year we have a picnic, which is a very cool event, and we have field games (and a little rain, pre-gathering, this year). We had a reporter here who actually wrote a glowing article on homeschooling, and fun was had by all.

here we are preparing for a challenging sack race

My friend's son helped me assemble the shelter (yay! great job T!)

See? Homeschoolers in LINE. Waiting their turns. Patiently with no shoving. Who knew you didn't need 12 years of public school to learn that? (oh wait, that would be us...)

And that's all the photos I took, since my son didn't go and my daughter spent the whole time playing in the dirt up the hill with her friend whom she hadn't seen in nearly a year. Oh well!
